Lette Raises $6.5 Million to Bring AI Into Property Management

The funding will help the rental technology startup improve leasing, tenant support, and property operations across the UK before expanding into Europe

London, 27 October 2026 – Managing rental properties involves much more than finding tenants and collecting rent. Property teams must respond to enquiries, coordinate repairs, track payments, and ensure residents receive timely support. As rental portfolios grow, handling these responsibilities through emails, spreadsheets, and separate software systems can become increasingly difficult. Lette, a property technology startup, is working to simplify these tasks with artificial intelligence.

The company has raised $6.5 million in seed funding to expand its UK operations and develop its AI-powered platform. The funding round was led by Peak, with participation from Heliad, Foreword VC, Pitchdrive, and angel investors, including Des Traynor, co-founder of Intercom. Lette was founded by Jakub Rajek and Mohan Sai to help residential property operators manage their daily activities more efficiently.

Lette has developed an AI operating system designed for the residential rental sector. Its platform supports build-to-rent properties, privately rented homes, student accommodation, and single-family housing. Rather than requiring property operators to replace their existing software, the system works alongside their current tools and automates routine workflows.

The platform uses AI agents to manage several stages of the rental process, from responding to initial enquiries and helping prospective tenants complete leases to assisting residents after they move in. It also supports maintenance requests, rent arrears management, and compliance-related activities.

For property managers, this approach can reduce the time spent on repetitive administrative work. Instead of manually answering every message or following up on each maintenance request, teams can use automation to handle routine tasks while focusing on situations that require personal attention.

Communication is a central part of Lette's platform. Its technology supports resident interactions through an app, email, WhatsApp, text messages, and voice calls. It can respond around the clock and communicate in multiple languages, helping residents receive assistance without having to wait for office hours.

The platform also helps coordinate maintenance requests, from the initial report to the completion of repairs. By identifying missed rental payments, it can help property teams follow up before outstanding balances become more difficult to manage.

Lette's customer base includes real estate services firm JLL. According to the company, its technology has helped operators reduce leasing times and automate resident support and maintenance requests across residential portfolios.

The new investment will support recruitment across product development, engineering, and customer operations as Lette strengthens its presence in the UK. The company also plans to expand into additional European markets in 2027.

The investment reflects growing interest in proptech solutions that address practical challenges in property management. As residential operators oversee larger portfolios, automation offers a way to improve response times and manage workloads without increasing administrative pressure at the same pace.

For Lette, the next step will be to demonstrate that its technology can deliver consistent results across different property types and markets. If successful, the platform could help property teams spend less time managing routine processes and more time improving the resident experience.

As artificial intelligence continues to enter the real estate sector, solutions such as Lette show how technology can support the everyday work behind renting and managing homes.
