Organizing Your Construction Efforts to Generate Some Long-desired Efficiency

There is literally no end to what all human beings can go out and achieve, but at the same time, there remains little that we do better than growing under every possible situation. This ever-present tendency to become a better version of ourselves has enabled the world to clock some huge milestones, with technology emerging as quite a major member of the group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which guided us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look beyond the surface for one hot second, it will become abundantly clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and as a result, initiated a full-blown tech revolution. Of course, the next thing this revolution did was to scale up the human experience through some outright unique avenues, but even after achieving a feat so notable, technology will somehow continue to bring forth the right goods. The same has turned more and more evident in recent times, and assuming one new construction-themed development ends up with the desired impact, it will only put that trend on a higher pedestal moving forward.

DEWALT has officially announced the launch of its new Metal Workshop Storage System, which happens to be a fully integrated storage solution to organize power tools, hand tools, outdoor equipment, stick tools, power tool accessories, and more. According to certain reports, the system comes decked up with metal tool storage chests and cabinets, as well as 25 new workshop accessories that are sold separately. Each chest features a DEWALT metal rail mounted inside, alongside a battery rail that organizes up to four DEWALT batteries. As for the cabinets, they have two metal rails mounted to the outside of the cabinet, alongside two power tool holsters. Although slightly different in their design, both chests and cabinets are built with heavy-gauge steel and feature full-extension, soft-close, ball-bearing drawers. Talk about drawers; smaller ones have a single set of slides and a max capacity of 100 lbs. On the other hand, larger and deeper drawers are fortified with double slides that support up to 150 lbs. per drawer. Moving on, cabinets in question offer you 6×2 inches casters with a 2,000-lb. load rating, whereas the chests’ faction includes an integrated 15-amp max load power strip with six power outlets and two USB ports for convenient charging of DEWALT power tools and even your mobile devices. Coming back to DEWALT’s heavy-duty metal rail, it effectively headlines the whole technology. You see, acting like the centerpiece of the complete DEWALT Integrated Storage System, this heavy-duty metal rail can be mounted to metal chests, cabinets and workbenches, and if that’s not how you want to use it, you can also mount the rail directly on the wall. In design, the component includes two endcap joiners that provide a finished look and the ability to connect multiple rails horizontally. Each joiner, notably enough, has its own dedicated patented latching system that secures accessories directly to the metal rail. From what we know, this all-important metal rail can support up to 100 lbs. per linear foot.

“Organization is crucial to keeping pros productive on the job – whether on the jobsite, in the warehouse, or in their personal workspaces,” said Doug Redpath, president of Hand Tools, Accessories and Storage Group, Stanley Black and Decker. “The DEWALT Metal Workshop Storage System, designed with our customers in mind, is fully customizable and engineered for tough storage demands in a variety of environments.”

To solidify the prospects of its new storage system even more, DEWALT has conceived a battery rail with 20 lb load capacity, a power tool holster with a 10 lb load capacity, and a battery charger rail mount boasting a loading prowess of around 11 lb. Apart from that, we have a power tool storage shelf, which is given a 100 lb. max load capacity. This is only bested by the company’s power tool wall cabinet, which is understood to have a 200 lb. max load capacity, if metal rail mounted. In an event where the cabinet is mounted to the wall, the promised capacity goes straight up to a whopping 500 lb.

Of course, in order to allow the mounting of tools, DEWALT has brought out an assortment of individual hooks, hook sets, and starter kits. Offering short and long-handled hooks, as well as specialized hooks for hoses, ladders and outdoor powered equipment, the line-up hands you an 8-piece Hand Tool Hook Set, along with an 8-piece Corded Power Tool Peg Hook Set for use with corded tools. Then, there is a 4-piece Cordless Hang Hook Set. Complimenting these assortments are a power tool storage kit, a lawn and garden storage kit, and a 21-piece starter kit.

Outside of the highlights, though, DEWALT’s storage system will also put on the table two magnetic accessories for easy installation i.e. a 25 inches Magnetic LED Light Strip and a Magnetic Power Strip with six power outlets and two USB ports. Beyond the said accessories, the company will introduce a 2 packs of Plastic Bins, and a 24 inches Wire Shelf.
