Accelerating Your Pursuit of a Bigger and Smarter Technological Landscape

Human beings are known for a myriad of different things, but more importantly, they are known for getting better on a consistent basis. This progressive tendency, on our part, has already got us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology emerging as a rather unique member of the stated group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is largely based on its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look beneath the surface for a second, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world a real-world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centrepiece of every horizon. Having such an ingenious piece run the show unsurprisingly scaled up the human experience from every conceivable direction, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on bring out the goods. The same has turned increasingly evident over the recent past, and assuming Frontier’s latest move ends up making the desired impact, it will only propel that trend to much greater heights in the near future and beyond.

Frontier, an internet service provider (ISP) that services 25 US states, has officially launched 5 Gig fiber internet service across its entire network. According to certain reports, the new service is well-equipped to deliver an upload speed that is 125 times faster than cable and almost five times faster downloads than the same. Apart from it, it also offers two and a half times lower latency. Interestingly enough, the new service comes not even one year after Frontier launched its 2 Gig fiber internet service. As for what’s different between these two iterations, the stated lowdown, of course, starts from the speed. However, there is an even bigger differentiator in terms of the pricing. You see, the stated 5 Gig fiber service is understood to have a base plan of around $154.99 per month, a figure which is almost $55 higher than what the company charged for 2 Gig. Fortunately, in order to sweeten the deal, Frontier does offer incentives like uncapped data, a Wi-Fi router, and free installation. If that is somehow not enough, the telecom player also offers you a premium brand of tech support.

“We set a standard with network-wide 2 Gig internet last year, and now we’ve done it again,” said John Harrobin, Executive Vice President of Consumer at Frontier. “Our 5 Gig offer meets the growing demand for multi-gig speeds and delivers the ‘un-cable’ experience by making the fastest upload and download speeds available throughout our fiber network.”

It’s a major development by all means, considering AT&T, at the moment, is the only company providing 5 Gig network across US. While Google Fibre’s 5 and 8 Gig plans are also expected to join the party soon, the option pool still remains quite limited, making Frontier’s decision a hugely significant one.
