Four shows combine to showcase the very latest advanced technologies and innovations within battery technology, electric vehicles, advanced materials and technical ceramics at the NEC in June.
The Advanced Materials Show, The Advanced Ceramics Show, Battery Cells & Systems Expo, Vehicle Electrification Expo will take place on the 28th & 29th June 2023 returning to the UK’s leading exhibition venue, the NEC Birmingham, UK. This unique, free-to-attend exhibition and conference provides product manufacturers, engineers and leaders in R&D with a showcase of cutting-edge innovations along with a dedicated four track conference to discuss the opportunities, challenges and ideas shaping these vital industries.
As a result of the collaboration and achievements made by the Midlands Industrial Ceramics Group (MICG), their members are coming together into a bespoke MICG pavilion at The Advanced Ceramics Show, which represents a significant increase in their exhibiting footprint. The AMRICC Centre is also being launched at the event by MICG – this facility is providing the capabilities for the group to collaborate and deliver innovations.
The 2023 exhibition and four-track conference will feature Andy Palmer, Inobatt, Nusrat Ghani MP, UK Gov, Emanuel Eweka, AMTE Power, Neil Glover, Rolls Royce,
Bhavika Ramrakhyani, Costai and many others.
Organisations featuring at the event include Thermo Fisher Scientific, Goodfellowm Rigaku Europe, ABB Limited, Elysia – Battery Intelligence by WAE, Atlas Copco and many more.
Dr Andy Palmer and Roger Atkins, two notable EV thought-leaders within the industry are being interviewed on stage at Vehicle Electrification Expo on Wednesday 28th June.
Former CEO of Aston Martin, Dr. Palmer also led the Nissan team that launched the company’s pioneering start in the electric vehicle market: the Nissan Leaf. Two of the UK’s automotive industry’s leading voices on the current state of the UK EV sector will be sharing their insight exclusively at the show.
Also, at this year’s Vehicle Electrification Expo, Atlas Copco’s stand will feature a racing car in recognition of the company’s partnership with Red Bull Ford Powertrains, for the development of a new engine for 2026, which is being designed and manufactured at the team’s new facility in Milton Keynes.
Steve Bryan, Managing Director at Event Partners (organisers) says “We are absolutely delighted with the support we have seen for this event from the advanced technology and innovation industries. The technical battery, EV, advanced materials and ceramics industries in the UK are undergoing an unprecedented level of growth currently driven by both government and private investment. We are looking forward to getting major global organisations, start-ups and thought leaders together for two days of networking, collaboration and insight to help shape the next few years of these major industries.”
