Jensen Huang Pushes Nvidia Toward Full AI Automation as Company Expands Workforce

CEO urges employees to automate every task with AI, while Nvidia accelerates hiring across global offices

San Francisco, California, 3 December 2025 – Nvidia is taking a bold and uncompromising approach to artificial intelligence adoption inside the company. As AI becomes central to operations across the tech industry, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is urging his workforce to automate every task possible while simultaneously growing the company at a rapid pace.

According to internal discussions reported by Business Insider, Jensen emphasized that AI should be used widely across all teams rather than being limited. His message was direct: if AI can automate a task, it should.

“My understanding is that Nvidia has some managers who are telling their people to use less AI,” he said. “I want every task that is possible to be automated with AI. I promise you, you will have work to do.”

His comments followed another record-breaking earnings report for the company, further solidifying Nvidia’s position as a leader in global AI infrastructure.

AI Automation and Massive Hiring—Both at Once

Despite the push to automate workflows, Nvidia is experiencing major workforce expansion. Jensen confirmed that the company hired “several thousand” new employees in the last quarter alone. Nvidia’s staff has grown from 29,600 at the end of fiscal 2024 to 36,000 by the end of fiscal 2025, a leap of 6,400 people.

While many tech companies continue to restructure or downsize, Nvidia is accelerating in the opposite direction.

“Frankly, I think we’re probably still about 10,000 short,” Jensen noted, adding that hiring will continue at a pace that supports smooth integration and strong collaboration across teams.

Nvidia is also expanding its global presence, opening new offices in Taipei and Shanghai, with two more facilities under construction in the U.S.

Using AI to Improve AI

Jensen Huang’s message extends beyond automation; it’s also about refinement. He encourages employees to rely on AI tools daily, even when those tools are imperfect.

Nvidia engineers, for example, frequently use Cursor, an AI coding assistant growing in popularity across the tech sector. Jensen explained that the only way for these tools to evolve is through constant use, real feedback, and iterative improvement.

“Use it until it does,” he said. “Jump in and help make it better, because we have the power to do so.”

For Nvidia, internal AI adoption is not only a productivity strategy but also a development engine. By using AI throughout the company, employees actively help refine and advance the very technologies Nvidia is bringing to the world.
