Widening the EV Scope for Two-Wheeler Market

Hiboy, a Glendora, California-based company, has officially announced the launch of its first folding Electric bike named as the Hiboy C1. According to certain reports, the stated bike comes decked up with the means to enhance rider’s riding style and performance, while simultaneously ensuring complete safety and security. Talk about the product on a slightly deeper level, it features a unibody structural design and high-carbon steel frame so to generate a balance between lightness and a sturdy frame structure. This balance, on its part, should go a long way to simplify the riding or carrying of the bike, an upside that becomes all the more important when in traffic. Next up, we must get into the fact that Hiboy C1 arrives on the scene bearing a powerful 350W motor, a capacity which can go upto 648W. Joining the same is robust, long-lasting 36V 7.8Ah removable battery. Anyway, the bike also hands you access to different speed modes i.e. eco, comfort, and sport, modes which primarily help you navigate an incline. In the eco alternative, also known as the energy saving mode, you get a speed of 9.3 MPH, whereas the number reaches a maximum of 15.5 MPH in comfort mode. For the sport bit, the same speed reaches 20 MPH. All in all, riders can expect to overcome steep inclines with a maximum 20% angle of climb. Moving on to the vehicle’s connectivity features, they leverage Hiboy App to deliver on the promised value proposition. This value proposition includes an option to connect your smartphone, via Bluetooth, to the Hiboy App for the purpose of lock the bike. It also refers to how one can use the app to customize speed and cruise control settings. On top that, there is also available an advanced brand of braking systems and lighting to deliver at your disposal a smooth nighttime riding experience.

More on Hiboy C1’s pledge to ensure a smart driving experience would reveal a display which is present between handlebars to assist you in essential functions. For instance, Hiboy C1’s LCD meter displays power, voltage, mileage, speed, time, and plenty other critical details. This display is also responsible to inform you on the speed mode in which your vehicle is running. Next up, it will show an icon that will illuminate itself whenever the bike’s lights are on, thus bringing an indication which is also available to help the rider know whether the bike is locked or not. Beyond that, you can rely upon the bike’s display to check percentage of remaining power, and if there is a fault in the vehicle, its LCD screen will also display that with a fault code.

Hold on, there is more, considering we still haven’t discussed the option Hiboy C1 provides to switch between pure electric riding and pure pedal assist riding. In case you go for the former, you can cover somewhere around 22.7 miles worth of distance. However, if you choose pure pedal assist riding, you can almost double that up by covering 43.5 miles. Of course, to complement the entire package, Hiboy will offer dedicated customer support which means personalized assistance before and after the purchase.
